live and let live

the mind was begging to let go but the heart just couldn't do..
trying, but not really willing.
the battle has begun but every single moment of fighting
was A to the nth power for a-ffort
consuming every microscopic particle.
and then, the dangerous mind was flying,
downloading information unacceptable to the human heart..
burdensome to the soul.
brain cells were dying and
the body became too frail for combat.

but now, revenge of the flesh is surfacing
and the forgiving soul is weak.
God help the soldier!
